Royal Enfield have launched their new bike, Classic in India. For India Royal Enfield has launched the Classic in two models - Classic 350 & Classic 500. Royal Enfield Classic 350 is available in Red, Black & Silver where as Royal Enfield Classic 500 is available in Red, Black & Green. The Green shade is not available in Classic 350 & Silver shade is not available in Classic 500.

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 is powered by a 499cc, single cylinder engine which generates maximum power of 27.2 Bhp at 5250 rpm and peak torque of 41.3 Nm at 4000 rpm. And the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc engine from Thunderbird Twinspark which generates 19.8 Bhp of maximum power at 5250 rpm with 28 Nm of maximum torque.

Some of the main attractions of this new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 are that of the traditional looking front number plate, Classic style round headlamp, Fuel tank with post war graphics, Thigh pads and single saddle seat with springs and also the Body colored frame. What is really new in the Royal Enfield Classic is a UCE (Unit Construction Engine).

This new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 features Telescopic, Hydraulic damping Suspension at the front and Swing arm with adjustable Gas filled shock absorber Suspension at the rear. It also comes with a 280mm Front Disc brake and an Internal Expanding Rear Drum Brake. This new Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as Classic 500 with a 5-speed Gearbox features Electronic Fuel Injection System in it.

Royal Enfield has priced the Classic 500 at Rs. 1,24,000 and Classic 350 is priced at Rs. 98,800. These prices are Ex-Showroom New Delhi. The On-Road prices are expected to be around Rs. 1,40,000 for the Classic 500 & Rs. 1,10,000 for the Classic 350.
